Mailbox questions
What is a mailbox address?
A real street address in the UK, US or Colombia that you use at checkout with retailers who don't ship to your country. Parcels arrive at our facility, you are notified, and you choose when and how to forward them onward.
Can I combine several parcels into one shipment?
Yes — that is usually the point. Consolidation merges everything sitting in your mailbox into a single outbound parcel, so you pay one international freight charge instead of one per retailer. On multi-retailer orders this is typically the largest single saving.
How long can a parcel stay in my mailbox?
Long enough to wait for the rest of an order to arrive. Storage is free for an initial period and then charged per day, so a mailbox works as a staging area rather than a warehouse.
Is it a PO box?
No. It is a street address, which matters because many retailers and most carriers reject PO boxes at checkout.
Do I still pay duty when forwarding?
Yes. Forwarding is an import into your country, so duty and tax apply as they would on any cross-border parcel, based on the declared value of the contents. The estimate is shown before you pay to forward.
