This policy explains what personal data OneEasyStop collects when you compare and book parcel delivery, why we need it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We only ask for what we need to get your parcel collected and delivered, and we never sell your data.

1. Who we are
OneEasyStop (“OES”, “we”, “us”) runs oneeasystop.com, a platform for comparing and booking parcel delivery with independent carriers. We decide how and why your personal data is used, which makes us the “controller” of that data under UK data protection law.
For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at support@oneeasystop.com or +44 203 670 0424.
2. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to anyone whose personal data we handle, including:
- people who visit our website;
- customers who create an account or book a shipment;
- senders and recipients named on a shipment, even if they did not book it themselves;
- people who contact us by email, phone or our contact form.
3. What information we collect
- Identity and contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number and company name (if you give one).
- Address details: collection and delivery addresses, and any addresses you save to your account.
- Shipment details: parcel weight, size, contents, declared value and the information customs needs for international shipments.
- Account details: your login email and password. Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form, never as plain text.
- Payment details: the amount, currency and result of each payment. Your card details are entered on and held by Stripe, our payment provider, not by us.
- Order history: your bookings, tracking numbers, cancellations, refunds and claims.
- Technical details: the cookies and browser storage listed in section 9, and the basic information any website receives, such as your IP address and browser type.
4. How we collect it
- From you: when you get a quote, book a shipment, create an account, save an address or contact us.
- From the person who booked: if someone sends a parcel to you or for you, they give us your name, address and contact details.
- Automatically: through the cookies and browser storage described in section 9.
- From our partners: carriers send us tracking and delivery updates, and Stripe tells us whether a payment succeeded.
5. How we use it
We use your personal data to:
- show you prices and book the shipment you choose;
- pass the carrier the details it needs to collect and deliver it;
- prepare customs paperwork for international shipments;
- take payment and issue refunds;
- send booking confirmations, labels, tracking updates and other messages about your orders;
- run your account and keep your saved addresses;
- handle cancellations, claims and complaints;
- prevent fraud and keep the site secure;
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
6. Why we are allowed to use it
The law only lets us use personal data when we have a reason it recognises. Ours are:
- Contract: we need your details to book and deliver the shipment you asked for and to run your account.
- Legal obligation: for example keeping financial records and providing customs information.
- Legitimate interests: for example preventing fraud, keeping the site secure and improving our service, where this does not override your rights.
- Consent: where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
If you do not give us the details a booking needs, we cannot arrange the shipment.
7. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- The carrier you choose, for example 24H Logistics, Skynet, Liberty, UPS, USPS or FedEx, which needs the sender and recipient details to collect and deliver the parcel.
- Customs authorities in the countries a parcel travels through, for international shipments.
- Stripe, which processes card payments and refunds.
- Google, whose address search completes the address you type. The text you type is sent to Google to find matching addresses.
- Our technology providers, who host the website and our systems and act only on our instructions.
- Professional advisers and authorities, such as lawyers, accountants, the police or regulators, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
- A buyer of our business, if all or part of it is ever sold, under the same protections as this policy.
8. Transfers outside the UK
Sending a parcel abroad means sending the shipment details to the carrier and customs authorities in the destination country. Some of our providers, such as Stripe and Google, may also process data outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK we rely on the safeguards UK law provides, such as adequacy decisions and approved contract terms, or on the transfer being necessary to deliver the shipment you asked for.
9. Cookies and browser storage
We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items that the site needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies. When you pay, Stripe's payment page sets its own cookies, which Stripe's own privacy policy covers.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
oes_session | Cookie | Keeps you signed in to your account. | Until you sign out or your sign-in expires |
oes_checkout | Cookie | Holds the shipment you are booking while you pay, so the order cannot change between checkout and payment. | 3 hours |
oes_resume | Cookie | Lets you come back to a shipment you started but did not finish. | 7 days |
oes.user | Browser storage | Remembers your name and email on this device so the site can show that you are signed in. | Until you sign out |
oes.basket | Browser storage | Keeps the shipments in your basket on this device. | Until you empty the basket or clear your browser |
10. How we protect it
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, signed cookies that cannot be tampered with, and access limited to the people and systems that need it. No way of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe once we have it. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites we link to.
11. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for. Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. When we no longer need data, we delete it or make it anonymous.
12. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict or stop using your data;
- object to us using your data on the basis of legitimate interests;
- ask for your data in a format you can move to another service;
- withdraw your consent where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email support@oneeasystop.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. Some rights have limits, for example we must keep certain records by law, and we will tell you if that applies.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first at support@oneeasystop.com so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies. If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or on the website.
