Prices and surcharges, published up front
A shipment's price is a base rate plus a fuel surcharge plus any surcharge triggered by the address, the shape or the border. All of them are listed below with the condition that triggers them. We show each as its own line in the quote rather than folding them into one number.

Pricing questions
Is the price I see the price I pay?
The quote includes the base rate, the fuel surcharge and any surcharge we can detect from the address and dimensions you entered. What can still change afterwards is a charge caused by the parcel differing from what was declared — a remeasure, an address correction, or duty on a DDU shipment.
Why did a surcharge appear after delivery?
Carriers remeasure and reweigh in the network. If the parcel is larger or heavier than declared, the difference is billed retrospectively. Declaring accurate dimensions is the only reliable way to avoid it — see our volumetric weight guide.
How often does the fuel surcharge change?
Monthly, and independently per carrier. Because it is a percentage of the base rate, the cheapest carrier on a lane can change from one month to the next, which is the main argument for comparing per shipment rather than picking a favourite.
Do you add a markup to carrier rates?
Our margin is included in the rate you see; there is no separate booking fee added at checkout. The surcharges listed on this page are the carrier's own and are passed through.
